Story

This is Buttercup. She is a 15 year old Jack Russell mix. She has been with us since a puppy. Our lives have changed a lot in the last year or so and time/attention have become a real issue. We decided as a family that Buttercup seems to have some time left to enjoy life (you would never guess that she is 15 years old) and that we are not giving her the attention that she once had and deserves. She is an extremely owner-loyal dog. In most of our children's photos through the years, there she is in one corner or another of the photo just watching over. She deserves to enjoy and be enjoyed. I think someone who can give her attention would truly enjoy her loyal companionship. She needs more people time, more walks, a little more of everything. As difficult of a decision as this is, I am doing what I feel and hope will be the best for her. She is crate trained. She also lived most of her life with another small dog.

Story

Daisy Mae is a three-year-old Jack Russell mixed breed and weighs about 35 pounds. I adopted Daisy Mae about a year ago. I have other dogs and she gets along well with them. She is very sweet and minds well but can be hyperactive and will destroy stuffed toys or ones with squeakers. She needs a yard with a fence as she likes to run in the yard and hunt lizards. She is crate trained but loves to sleep on the sofa. She enjoys going for walks on the leash. I need to find her a new home as I have taken in four dogs, and I think Daisy Mae needs to have more attention than I can give her. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is currently on flea and heartworm prevention. She also has a microchip which is transferrable.

A solitary or sedate lifestyle isn't suited to the Jack Russell.
